Iceland is a Country where Heaven meets the Earth. On March, this year, I discovered why nature lovers and especially landscape photographers travel to the island of Iceland. Iceland is magic. It is full with amazing and astonishing variety of landscapes, a paradise for every photographer. I had the chance to visit the island and travel around for ten days and I was amazed with the beauty of the scenery. Our journey to this magical paradise started form Reykjavik to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Snaefellsnes Peninsula offers stunning landscapes which captured the imagination of people all over the world. Black church of Budir, the villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar and the famous mountain of Kirkufell some of the places you have to place on your places to see list at Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
Living Snaefellsnes Peninsula and following the Ring Road we travel to the famous Golden Circle near Reykjavik. It is the area that contains most tours and travel-related activities in Iceland since it is very close to Reykjavik and it is easily accessible. The three primary stops on the route are the Þingvellir national park, the Gullfoss waterfall, Iceland’s most famous waterfall, and the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur.
Living Golden circle area we follow the Ring Road 1 to the Southeast of Iceland where we spend five days visiting places such as the charming village of VIK, the Village of Hofn and of course the famous Skaftafell national park. Jökulsárlón Ice lake at Vatnajökull National park and the ice black beach are incredible places to spend a few hours in the SouthEast area of Iceland. Also in the area are not to be missed picturesque waterfalls such as the Seljalandsfoss and the Skogafoss.
We ended our dream journey visiting Reykjanes peninsula, an area filled with geothermal sites, dramatic coastlines, landscapes and quaint, historic towns.
Below are some of the images of Icelandic scenery as I capture them through my Lens. Visit my Iceland photo album and enjoy more photos. I will continuously updating the album with new photos as I processed them. Iceland is a place I am definitely recommending to visit and is a place you will love and want to visit again and again. Some of the images are available as prints on several media on my store at FineArtAmerica.
Thank you you enjoying my work and I would love to have your comments.

The last few weeks I had the opportunity to participate in Fashion and Modeling events. Fashion photography requires a lot of experience, skills and practice. And above all creativity and very good face to face and verbal communication with the models. Following are links to modeling and fashion photos from Cyprus Fashion Days . A few years ago I was thinking of building a personal web side to show what my eyes see and what my camera captures but I did not have the time and the knowledge to do so. So I use FlickR and Facebook to show my portfolio to my friends and the world. Now I realize that a personal website is a must for every photographer and I recently started to play with WordPress and the portfolio-press free theme.
As the author of portfolio press say “Portfolio Press is a responsive theme for showcasing, your photography, art, web sites, or other projects . It also works nicely as a regular blog site”. It as a very simple theme and very easy to set up and have a personal website and blog with in few days.
This web side uses some Plugins which provide more flexibility to the design add more options. Of course the design of a webpage can be an endless story and depends on the required options as well as the creativity of the designer.
Below is a list of Plugins used. The Plugins can be installed directly from WordPress plugin menu.

I hope you will enjoy my portfolio. I will try paint it frequently with my best photos from the world around me.
