 Hello and welcome to my personal webpage.My name is Michalakis Ppalis. I am a Fine Art photographer located in Nicosia, Cyprus. Michalis Palis photography is a webpage dedicated to photography. Through this page I will present to the world my portfolio of images as well as photos from places I visited. For me photography is a passion. It helps you see and respect the world around you in a different way. It helps you love people, love and respect nature and all the small things around. Photography is the only way to stop time and capture the moment. My photography journey started in 1985 when I bought my first camera which was the famous and fabulous Zenit 12XP. Few years later I bought the Nikon F601s and then the Nikon F80 with several Nikon lenses like the famous Nikon 70-210. I enter the digital era with the Nikon Coolpix 5700 and then with the Nikon D80. Three years ago , I have upgraded to the Nikon D300S and increase my arsenal with a few full frame lenses and the Nikon D750. For my photographic excursions I mainly use the following equipment:
Cameras I also use several Cokin and Hoya and Lee filters especial for landscape photography. To support my camera, I use a Manfrotto 190XCPROB tripod with a 496RC2 ball head stability. All images of Michalis Palis Photography with the exception of images with human presence can be licensed for commercial use. I have images available via several stock image agencies like Shutterstock as well as on Fine Art America. Please visit my shop for more details.
