Living Snaefellsnes Peninsula and following the Ring Road we travel to  the famous Golden Circle near Reykjavik. It is the area that contains most tours and travel-related activities in Iceland since it is very close to Reykjavik and it is easily accessible. The three primary stops on the route are the Þingvellir national park, the Gullfoss waterfall,   Iceland’s most famous waterfall,  and the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur.  

Living Golden circle  area we follow the Ring Road  1 to the Southeast of Iceland where we spend five days visiting places such as the charming village of VIK, the Village of Hofn and of course the famous Skaftafell national park.  Jökulsárlón  Ice lake at Vatnajökull National park and the ice black  beach are incredible  places to spend a few hours in the SouthEast area of Iceland. Also in the area are not to be missed picturesque  waterfalls such as the Seljalandsfoss and the Skogafoss.

We ended our dream journey visiting  Reykjanes peninsula,  an area filled with geothermal sites, dramatic coastlines, landscapes and quaint, historic towns.

I will continuously updating the album with new photos as I processed them. Iceland is a place I am definitely recommending to visit and is a place you will love and want to visit again and again. Στην έκθεση θα παρουσιαστούν επιλεγμένες φωτογραφίες (σύνολο 151) από το φετινό διαγωνισμό «Κύπρος – Κρήτη 2014» στον οποίο έλαβαν μέρος 70 φωτογράφοι, με τις συμμετέχουσες φωτογραφίες, να ξεπερνούν τις 700. Τα θέματα του διαγωνισμού ήταν: «Ελεύθερο έγχρωμο», «Επαγγέλματα μονόχρωμο» και «Μαγεία των Χρωμάτων». Τα έπαθλα και τα χρηματικά βραβεία στους νικητές της κάθε κατηγορίας, είναι χορηγία του φωτογραφείου Photo Bella το οποίο ευχαριστούμε. Η σχετική πρόσκληση επισυνάπτεται.Την Πέμπτη, 13 Νοεμβρίου, 2014, στις 7:30 μ.μ., στον ίδιο χώρο, ο Μανόλης Παπαδάκης (EFIAP/s, PSA**), αντιπρόεδρος της ΕΦΕ Κρήτης, θα μας παρουσιάσει το ενδιαφέρον θέμα “Νεκρή Φύση”.

And, even when you do get close, they’re constantly moving from flower to flower, gathering their most precious prize: sweet nectar. As the author of portfolio press say “Portfolio Press is a responsive theme for showcasing, your photography, art, web sites, or other projects . It also works nicely as a regular blog site”. It as a very simple theme and very easy to set up and have a personal website and blog with in few days.

This  web side  uses some Plugins which provide more flexibility to the design add more options. Of course the design of a webpage can be an endless story and depends on the required options as well as the creativity of the designer.
